Sniper Ghost Warrior is a first person shooter action game. The game lets you fill the shoes of a sniper from military to carry out sensitive missions. You are put into a team of top class soldiers as a sniper to help a fictional Latin American country called Isla Trueno, whose government was overthrown by military. The story is that the fictional Latin American country has been taken over by the hostile military soldiers and you are sent as a team of elite soldiers to rescue this country. You will play three characters in Sniper Ghost Warrior. One will be as a sniper to take down targets from a long distance. Other will be as a Private Anderson of Delta Force team and a rebel named El Trejon. These other 2 characters will let you play the game in more closed environments like in close combat situations. Your task is to defeat the military personnel and take back the country. You will have to fight the enemy by training rebels and helping them in combat. As the name suggests you will be acting as a sniper most of the game and taking out targets from long range.
The missions are quite different from each other even after being a game about snipers. You will be taking out targets from your sniper view or using stealth to sneak around enemies and some missions let you to fight in close combat situations. The game has different settings to play in. You will have lush green jungles and then you will have ancient ruins to battle your way through.
