What version of the normal sims 3 do i need to install?
When i’m trying to install generations it says(need to update the sims 3 before install can continue)
The sims 3 is a clean install of razor1911, no crack or updates

God am a fool read the instructions again whoops! I didn’t install the crack in the Sims 3 (original folder) instead of the Generations folder better late than never.
I need help. I’m having the same problem. a message comes up saying that “copy not authorized contact customer services.” Please explain it to me step by step cuz im pretty dumb doing this thing. please
reinstall the Sims 3 but dont crack it. Then install generation then copy the crack from the crack folder (DVD) to hard disk in the Game/Bin folder of Generations.

so, i unstalled everything, but when i load the game, it says “disk authorization failed” and it quits, uhm, i followed the instructions and i definately cracked over the files from the crack folder on the dvd to the game/bin folder of the main game. and it starts without the dvd mounted, so i know the crack works, right? what’s the problem….
wow, never mind i got it to work in case anyone’s interested it was because my base game for some reason is installed in program files and not program files(x86), so when i put the cracked files to the second folder, it didn’t work.
can i ask ? does it works on windows 7 ?
