Call of Duty Black Ops is the 7th game in Call of Duty series and it is also called Black Ops in short. This is a first person shooter game based on cold war. You start the game as a soldier and you can kill the enemies by either using your guns (only 2 of them can be carried)or use your knife in close combat. As in most of todays all games health damage is indicated by reddening of the screen. If you stay long enough in cover you will heal. You have 3 stances crouch, prone and stand. You can sprint for some time but you will get tired and slow down. As with the previous games of this series you will see a grenade indicator when you are near one which is going to explode. Black Ops lets you play the single player mode with several characters at different campaigns. So you will have different sets of skills at each level. You will have objectives at each level which will be shown on the game screen. The distance indicator will tell you how far you are from the current objective and will decrease as you approach it. Call of duty black ops is set in cold war where you go behind enemy lines as part of a black ops team to get the job done. You will travel all around earth at different locations from Russia, Cuba, and Vietnam to complete these missions. You are to recover a chemical weapon called Nova 6 in the single player campaign.
You start the game and you are being interrogated but you escape. You will see cutscenes of flashbacks of these interrogations throughout the game but they won’t come between the gameplay. The multiplayer is similar to previous games but with some new additions. This time around you will get points when you play regular game or level up and complete missions. These points can be used to purchase equipments like weapons. You will also notice the Playercard feature which lets you see the player’s detailed info and record in game. The game is exciting and intense to say the list. The multiplayer is improved and is very good. The world is detailed and has great graphics. You will also have the pleasure of going in some vehicles to complete your objectives. You will either drive or take point in these missions. The game has some great action sequences and you will enjoy every part of it.
This is a superb game and worth to be a part of the call of duty series. You have some new modes to play with. The story is excellent and campaigns are intensely enjoyable. Great game great performance, another Call of Duty five stars.

And the game runs smooth as a baby’s ass, between 70 and 100 frames most of the time, with all settings tuned for maximum.
I’ve finished the game and from the beginning to the end there was not a single problem.

how do you unlock the page that shows you the download links after you choose one of the options?
@mysteryperson wait couple of min after completing the survey or whatever that comes then see if it unlocks. otherwise try doing a diff one and use Firefox browser.
When i download the file, i open it in winrar and hit extract to. where do i extract it to??? and when i was extracting it said something about that i didnt have the right volumes?? plz help!! i have been trying all day to finally get a working cod black ops!!!! THanks!!
@Daniel Kaltman extract where u have space there is no need of exact location. And for wrong volume you need to download all the parts from the same site. like fileserve or hotfile.

@123456 d3dx9_43.dll means DirectX problem. install DirectX from the DVD or download new version from net and install. problem will be solved.

hey still have a problem when I quit zombie mode nothing happens the cursor is just in the middle I can move it but it comes back in the middle. I think the config.cfg works but ho wdo i put it? theres a random text there
@123456789 put it anywhere in the middle. and that fix will crash the game if u quit or save and quit.

while on the main menu press space repeatedly until you break out of the chair then go to the computer behind the chair press F to use it and type in “3arc unlock” without the quotation marks.
In config.cfg change seta monkeytoy “1″ to 0 (its to enable console)Then open the console by pressing “~” and type in “map zombie_pentagon” again without the quotation marks.
@123456789 If you want to play zombie with skidrow version, first go to Cod:BO/players folder and open config.cfg change seta monkeytoy “1″ to 0 (its to enable console) start SP , open console with ~, type map/devmap (if u want cheats) then load map with “/map zombie_pentagon” or “/map zombie_theater”
what about the Combat Training? I heard that you can play with bots there. How do i do that? Everytime I go to Multiplayer it asks Switch to multiplayer mode and if i press ok some console thing appeared and said it has an error. I wanna play with bots! anyway thanks for the help!

Hey all, i hope you can help me with my problem..
I bought and installes Call of Duty: Black Ops today. I installed the game without running into any problems, i started the game and watched the intro trailer. After i got at the main menu and selected campaign -> Hardened a cinematic movie starts to play but before i reach the first mission the movie freezes and i have to shut down the game…
Anyone got a suggestion for me?

Sorta fun game. Zombies, Sticks and Stones, and Hardcore modes are fun. Normal mode is a joke (as usual). The story line is just stupid for a few resons
First, half the story is in audio played at such a low volume ya gotta crank the volume up on your TV just to hear what he is saying. After the segment ends it blast you back to normal volume. very anoying
Second, some of the missions are fun but most of them are just rebranded from older games. I will admit there is a chopper battle thats fun however if you leave without killing all the tanks ya just get blown up for no reason. Nothing hits ya, just blow up…
